The only way to experience the richness of African wildlife species from so close up, is in the saddle of a horse. When you ride out, nature awaits you: powerful eland, wild herds of gnu, proud ostriches and a whole host more combine to give you a very special, unforgettable experience.

Riding at Kambaku

Discover Namibia on the back of our horses. Riders of all ages (minimum 4 years old) and all levels of riding experience are welcome at Kambaku. A unique, adventurous and relaxing experience of Namibia awaits you. Our extensive riding programme offers you many different rides into the African bush savannah. Whether in the still clear dawn or at glowing sunset, whether charging furiously or walking calmly, every rider enjoys the wilderness encounter at his/her own level of discovery and expertise in the saddle. The tempo and level of difficulty of the rides are adapted to your comfort in the saddle. Our well-trained horses can be relied upon for half day and full day rides at the foot of the Waterberg plateau. At your wish you could also enjoy training from a qualified instructor in our ring at the Lodge. Whether out on the farm or in the riding-school, your fun and joy with the horses takes highest priority. We will adapt to your individual riding abilities.
