Kambaku Wildlife Reserve
Carriage requirement of birth certificates for minor children
Important note for families travelling with minors: for entering Namibia, an original international birth certificate of every minor child, an international birth certificate or at least a certified English copy is mandatory. If kids are accompanying only one parent, the other parent is also obliged to bring along an affidavit.
Some airlines started to deny boarding to airplanes departing to Windhoek for children without the necessary documents. Please check the entry requirements for citizens of your country carefully and in due time before heading towards Namibia.
Thank you very much

Firt-Aid-Course for Kambaku Staff
As our guides and key staff attend to and accompany guests of all ages through the wilderness, first aid and survival training are mandatory. For this reason, all our guides, riding guides as well as hospitality and service staff once again underwent a first-aid-course. At Kambaku's new Bush College the team refreshed and practised life-saving first-aid measures in case of medical emergencies and accidents.

Perfect saddles for the horses
Very regularly proven experts check our riding equipment. At the of April we welcomed Siobhan J. Record at Kambaku's stable, a saddle specialist from South Africa. Before daybreak we started to introduce all our horses to her, beginning with describing their characters, roles, fitness levels and rideabilities, until ending with exact measurements of tummies, shoulders and backlines. Together with Siobhan we searched for the best matches out of our stock, bought new saddles and let her customize every piece individually with English wool to get a 100 % perfect fit for each of our horses.
It was wonderful to hear, that all saddles were of good fit already. Now it is great to know, that they are ftting perfectly!
NEW SAFARI HORSE
Have a look who recently joined our horse safari team: Waldfee, a 13 years old mare out of quality Lusitano and Westphalian bloodlines. Until her arrival she succeeded in dressage competitions - now she reigns Kambaku. First outrides in the bushveld have been a pleasure both for the horse and our ride guides. With her fantastic riding aptitude and her motivation to learn she will become a wonderful trail horse with a special training talent for riding guests who would like to improve their dressage skills in the school as well.
5 days intense bush training
Our new safari package is aimed at broadening your bush-savvy. Explore the savannah and become a wildlife pro:
Outdoor activities are combined with bush school to teach you to read tracks, understand the various species and the social relationships between them as well as appreciate the traditional way of using plants. Kambaku Bush Training is an exciting and varied combination of practice and theory, offering you a unique and lasting African experience.
