Solo trips to Namibia
Kambaku for singles
A cosy lodge created for your free time
Guests travelling on their own will find warm hospitality in the wilderness at our small lodge. We have only 10 rooms and charge no top-up for single use. The family atmosphere and personal service is yours to share. From the garden with its quiet spots and pool you have open vistas towards the watering hole and the picturesque backdrop of the Waterberg plains and bush savannah.
Those who seek the companionship of like-minded people, will soon build contact with others at Kambaku. Many bush adventures and tours with our guides take place in small groups. From amongst the guests you will also find partners for ball games or table tennis. At night under the stars companionship grows. Three course meals are served at the long tables for guides and guests alike. End-of-day conversations at the bar or camp fire are remembered long after.
Peaceful moments can be sought on a mountain bike or a long stroll on your own. We offer mountain bikes, maps and GPS kits free of charge for those exploring the 60 km network of paths. Take time off to sit in the hides watching the game at the water. Do remember to take along sufficient drinking water and do not leave the marked paths.

Experiencing the animal world of Kambaku may be done in various ways – on horse-back, on foot or in the Jeep as well as on bikes. Those wanting to know more are directed to our informative bush school. Through theory and practice you obtain deep insight into life in the Namibian bush. A special adventure is the stay-over in our small bush camp.
As you wish, our experienced guides will criss-cross the Reserve with you, either with you alone or in small groups. These pages offer more insight as to what you may discover at the Kambaku Wildlife Reserve:
See Namibia on a Kambaku safari
Kambaku can show you more than the Reserve’s bush savannah. Our guides drive you to the most beautiful spots there are. Together you can explore the Namib Desert, or take a trip into the north-eastern wetlands of the Zambezi Region (previously called the Caprivi Strip). Shorter trips to the Etosha National Park or day excursions to various destinations are there for your choosing. Find a summary here:
Team up in small groups
